Duty to inform about processing of applicant data

according to Art. 13 DSGVO

This data protection information informs you about the processing of your personal data at our company and at our other locations or affiliated companies.

Summary:

  • We use your data exclusively for the purpose of your application.
  • In the course of the application process, there are clear rights of inspection: Only the HR clerks and the decision-makers have access to your application documents.
  • Your application will only be passed on, e.g. for further job offers in our company, with your consent.
  • Admission to our pool of applicants for future vacancies will also only be granted with your consent.
  • If you are not accepted, we will delete your data after six months.
  • If you are hired, we will transfer relevant data to your personnel file.

Data protection of applicant data with us

In accordance with Art. 4 No. 1 DSGVO, your personal data includes all information that relates or can be related to your person, in particular by means of assignment to an identifier such as a name or to an applicant number with which your person can be identified within the company.

Personal information and personal data

Your application provides us with information (both in paper and digital form).

This is the data that you provide us with in the course of your application. This concerns all data that you send us, for example:
  • Name
  • Address
  • Date of birth
  • Place of birth
  • Information on school and vocational training, further education and qualification
  • Certificates
     

Purposes of collection and processing

 

We collect, process and use your personal data exclusively for the purpose of application (= initiation of an employment relationship).

Your data will only be processed for purposes other than those mentioned above if such processing is permitted under Art. 6 para. 4 DSGVO and is compatible with the original purposes. We will inform you about these processing operations before processing your data in this way.

Your privacy rights

You have a right to information about the personal data stored about you, about the purposes of processing, about possible transmissions to other parties and about the duration of storage.

To exercise your right to information, you may also receive extracts or copies. If data is incorrect or no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, you may request for it to be corrected, deleted or limited. If provided for in the processing procedures, you can also inspect your data yourself and correct it if necessary.

Should your particular personal situation give you reasons against processing your personal data, you can object to processing of your data if the processing is based on a legitimate interest. In such a case we will only process your data if there are special compelling interests.

Legal basis for the processing of your personal data

Your data is required for the implementation of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO). This means that we need and therefore process your data for the purpose of a possible employment.

Your personal data may also be processed on the basis of applicable laws (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c DSGVO).

In individual cases, we can obtain your consent to process or transfer your data. This may be the case, for example, if your application is kept for a longer period of time or if your application is considered for another position within our company. In these cases your consent is voluntary and can be revoked by you at any time in the future.

Your data will not be transmitted to external parties.

The applicant data is stored and processed in our systems. The technical installation is designed in such a way that only a narrow circle of specially authorized persons are authorized to access the data and any other access or other knowledge of the data is excluded according to the state of the art.

Duration of storage

Your personal data will only be stored as long as the knowledge of the data is necessary for the purposes of the employment relationship or the purposes for which it was collected, or as long as legal or contractual retention regulations exist.

If a contractual relationship does not materialize, we will keep your application data for 6 months for the purpose of AGG verifiability.

When a contractual relationship (=employment) is established, we will transfer necessary information to the personnel file.
